Computers for children who can't afford

The computer or laptop can no longer be ignored from our daily lives. Everyone makes frequent use of them. With a computer you can also do much more than just gaming. Think of doing schoolwork, keeping in touch with modern agenda's, social contact (eg via e-mail and social media) and the possibility to search for information that can eventually get you where you want and need to be in life. You can no longer work without a computer at school. Children create tasks and presentations with them and learn how to use the internet. Very nice and useful ... but what if there is no money for a computer at home? In the Netherlands, 1 in 9 children grow up in poverty. For them, buying something as common as a computer or laptop is not so simple. Apart from promoting where and when we can, we will host a gaming event called Bar Citizen where people meet up to talk about their shared passion. After the event, profits will also be directed to this charity.
